Accelerated Reader, or AR, is a computerized program that tests reading comprehension and provides personal feedback to achieve maximum success. An extensive body of researchconfirms the effectiveness of Accelerated Reader and best classroom practices in helping educators dramatically improve student reading skills. The research consistently demonstrates that computerized curriculum management systems such as AR enable teachers to target instruction and accelerate reading growth for students of all ability levels.

AR Cut-off Dates ...
TOP DOG is a special award that is part of the AR program. The students from Grades 2-6th are eligible. The top five students from each grade level with the most total AR points AND 80% quiz accuracy receive the Top Dog award at the last Husky Award ceremony in May. Good luck and keep reading!!
