Student Council, also known as Leadership, is a great way for upper graders to get involved with student government. During the student council term, elected officers help in various ways. Whether it is planning school activities, holding school fundraisers, assisting teachers and administration, or inspecting and keeping our campus safe, our student leadership is having fun. The Student Leadership team also staffs the Dog House.
Elections are held twice a year. A student may hold office one semester per year. Leadership elections are held at the end of the school year for the fall semester. Spring semester elections are held right after winter break. Leadership starts the first week of school and ends the last week of May. Meetings are held twice a month during lunch time. Meetings are scheduled for the second and fourth Wednesday of each month.
