Maple Creek is excited to host its annual ASB fundraiser! Our Huskies are challenged to
solicit donations to help support our Student Body funding which goes 100% back to
students. The fundraising all leads up to September 15th, where your student will be
running in our first ever Husky Strong Patriot Day Color Run. We will kick off our opening
ceremonies by honoring our first responders with a drive-by parade.
Parents/guardians, if you are a first responder
and would like to be a part of our
drive-by parade (September 15th from 8:30 am - 9:00 am) please email Mr. Turpin at[email protected]
by Wednesday, September 8th.
After opening ceremonies, students will participate in an exciting color/water run on the Maple
Creek campus with their grade levels. Parents, students will be getting a little bit wet
that day so please send an extra set of clothes in their backpacks. If interested there
will be a special Patriot Day Spirit wear shirt on sale until September 3rd 2021. All
money for spirit wear must be turned in by that day in order for the shirts to be ready by
the day of the run.
This event is an opportunity to support all Maple Creek students through fundraising.
Ten percent of the monies raised from this major fundraiser will go directly to the
classroom teacher to purchase items needed for the classroom. The money earned
also supports various activities in the areas of academics, athletics and arts at Maple
Creek Elementary. These items include awards, student activities that reward good
character, new books for the library and the classroom, and athletic uniforms for
football, volleyball, baseball/softball, wrestling, basketball, track, cross country and
This is the only Maple Creek Student Body sponsored fundraiser for the
year—your support is greatly needed and appreciated. Money collections will begin
Friday, August 30th through Wednesday, September 10th. We are looking forward to
an awesome few weeks of competition leading up to the big Patriot Day Color Run!
